O’Neal to Host Veterans Lunch

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced that he will be hosting a Veterans Lunch on Saturday, May 15.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chartiers Township Community Center, 2013 Community Center Drive, Houston. RSVPs are required by Friday, April 30, by calling his district office at 724-223-4541 or by visiting reponeal.com/events.

“I’m pleased to be able to hold this event again after I had to cancel last year due to the pandemic,” O’Neal said. “While each day we should thank our veterans for their service and dedication to our nation and community, I hold these annual events to coincide with Armed Forces Day in order to recognize them more formally on behalf of the community. If you are a veteran who resides in the 48th Legislative District, I hope you will be able to attend. All COVID-19 protocols will be in place, and attendees will also have the option of taking their lunch to go.”

The 48th Legislative District in Washington County includes the city of Washington; Chartiers, North Franklin, North Strabane and South Strabane townships; and Canonsburg, East Washington and Houston boroughs.
