Telephone Town Hall

I will be hosting a telephone town hall meeting for residents of the 48th Legislative District. The program will consist of a legislative update, as well as a question-and-answer session. The event could be postponed if we are in legislative session. Check my Facebook page for the latest update.

Seniors for Safe Driving

I am teaming up with Seniors for Safe Driving to offer a PennDOT-approved course to seniors age 55 and older living in the 48th Legislative District. By taking the course, participants will learn about current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate their vehicle safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. This is classroom instruction only. No on-the-road driving or classroom testing will occur. The cost to attend is $17 paid directly to Seniors for Safe Driving, and participants receive a 5% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years. I am partnering with the Pennsylvania State Police to host a free event to help parents better understand online gaming, online predators and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) risks facing children.
The program will provide an overview of the popular gaming platform Roblox, discuss how predators may target children in gaming environments and explore the potential misuse of AI online. In addition, the presentation will outline several practical steps to ensure children can navigate the internet safely, including parental controls and protections.
