O’Neal to Hold Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics
May 1, 2024
HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) today announced his office will host three Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics during the month of May.
“This year more Pennsylvania residents are eligible for the program due to a legislative expansion that I supported,” O’Neal said. “No one should pay for assistance in completing the program’s application. I’m pleased to be able to have my staff out in the community to make it easier to apply.”
All clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on:
• Thursday, May 9, at the Donora Senior Center, 683 Meldon Ave., Donora.
• Wednesday, May 15, at the Carroll Township Municipal Building, 130 Baird St., Monongahela.
• Tuesday, May 21, at the Amwell Township Building, 885 Amity Ridge Road, Amity.
The program is open to Pennsylvanians who are 65 or older, widows and widowers 50 years or older, and those 18 years or older with disabilities. Rebates are on the property taxes and rent paid last year. Income limits this year increased to $45,000 and the maximum rebate to $1,000.
Assistance completing the application will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring identification, all proof of 2023 income, and a signed rent certificate or paid property tax receipts.
